Start this incredible Mana Pools walking safari with a night at Kanga Camp. Kanga Camp is located in one of the most remote parts of Mana Pools National Park inland of the river, providing a unique way to experience the National Park. The camp is set on a permanent water pan, which brings a variety of animals to your doorstep so that you can settle into your holiday in style.

After a relaxing evening at Kanga Camp, start your adventure through the vlei lines, floodplains and Mana Pools hideaways. Take part in a true mobile tented safari experience and camp along the beautiful Zambezi River. A walking safari is the most authentic and rich way to experience the land and get in touch with your surroundings. This on-foot safari allows you to explore the wonders of nature up close, from the tiniest insect to the mighty elephants that roam the valley.

Zambezi Expeditions showcases one of the most magnificent settings in Zimbabwe’s iconic Mana Pools National Park.  Fall asleep to the sound of the flowing river and chuckles of hippo and wake-up with the dawn chorus to a spectacular African sunrise. This paradise allows you to connect with nature in a deep and meaningful way.

Set off walking along the river, admiring everything Mana Pools has to offer. From the variety of waterbird species along the river banks to the packs of wild dogs and herds of elephant that frequent the area, there is something to experience around every turn.

Nyamatusi Camp is set in one of the wildest and most remote parts of Mana Pools, on the banks of one of the Zambezi River. Nyamatusi allows guests to experience an authentic view of the old untouched Africa with a touch of luxury. Inspired by the traditional custodians of the land who respected the river as the source of life, the design of the camp subtly incorporates the element of water and pays homage to the astounding beauty of the mighty Zambezi River.
